When Companies Outgrow Countries

Then (2011):
Apple, the largest listed stock, was worth $370 billion — still 3–6× smaller than the economies of Brazil, Russia, and Indonesia.

Now (2025):
• Nvidia ($4.4 trillion) is now larger than Japan and the UK, nearly Germany, and double the size of Russia and Brazil, triple Indonesia.
• Apple and Microsoft, each above $3 trillion, are bigger than France, Canada, and the UK.

This week, Donald Trump met with leaders of Russia, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Canada — all of which now have economies smaller than Nvidia’s market cap.

Conclusion:
Years ago, Apple overtook the Indonesian economy. Today, Nvidia has overtaken entire nations represented at Trump’s meeting table.

It’s time for countries to grow themselves back to size: lower taxes, ease regulations, open space for private enterprise — and let the real cashflow flow.

Ketika Perusahaan Lebih Besar dari Negara

Dulu (2011):

Beberapa tahun lalu, Apple melampaui ekonomi Indonesia.
