🍏 Apple per person
Sharpfokus Brief — September 24, 2025
Apple’s market value is now $3.5 trillion, close to matching the $3.4 trillion value implied by its $130 billion in annual cashflow discounted at 4%.
That works out to $17 of Apple cashflow per person in the world.
With the iPhone 17 now released, the numbers get interesting. At an average selling price of around $1,000 per unit, and with a cashflow margin of ~33%, Apple generates about $330 of cashflow per phone.
Not too crazy when you compare that to the $17 “per person” global benchmark — the real question is how much higher that cashflow can rise as the new range and ecosystem products roll out.
Apple looks fairly priced by our method today, but the future trajectory depends on whether its cashflow can scale further.
